IMPORTANT: NEW WORSHIP SERVICE TIMES, BEGINNING OCT 3, (9A & 10:30A) WITH LIFE GROUPS DURING EACH SERVICE TIME!!!

Good Neighbor Project

This April, LFC is launching the Good Neighbor Project, a month focused on serving the people right where you live, work, and play. Partner with your Life Group or LFC neighbors to identify real needs and make a tangible impact in your community.

Projects can include yard work, home repairs, care packages, block parties, or other creative ways to bless those around you.

How It Works

1. Form a Group

Projects are completed with Life/Home Groups. If you’re not in one, we’ll help connect you.

2. Choose a Project

Identify a need in your neighborhood, community, or city.
*See ideas below.

3. Submit a Project (Feb 1–28)

One person per group serves as the Group Contact and completes the submission form. (Please submit a new form for each project.)

4. Serve in April

Once submitted the Local Engagement Team will reach out to your group contact.

FAQs

Who can I do projects with?
Projects are designed to be organized and completed by Life Groups. If you are not currently part of a Life Group, don’t worry you can be paired with one.
How do I submit a project?
Click the “Submit a Project” button below.
Each project should have one designated Group Contact. This person is responsible for:
Completing the project submission form
Serving as the main point of communication with Jennifer Meyer
Only one person per group needs to submit the form. If your group is doing multiple projects, please submit a separate form for each project.

Good Neighbor Project Application
P.O. Request Form
If my group doesn’t need supplies from the church, do we still need to fill out the form?
Yes, please do!
Submitting the form helps church staff:
Know when and where projects are happening
Avoid multiple groups unknowingly planning the same project
Is there a release of liability?
Yes. If your project involves doing any work on someone else’s property, a signed release of liability from the homeowner or property owner is required. This protects both you and the church.

I need project ideas. What are some options?
Here are a few ideas to spark creativity:
Yard work for someone who needs help
Home repairs for individuals or families in need
Hosting a neighborhood block party or cookout
Delivering goodie bags to neighbors
Assembling care packages for the unhoused community
Blessing first responders with cards, baked goods, or care packages
Ministering to residents of a local nursing home
Cleaning up trash in a neighborhood or local park
This list isn’t exhaustive, it’s just a starting point. Be creative and prayerful as you look for ways to love your neighbors well.
Can I help with City projects?
Yes! There are several City-led projects available. All supplies for these projects are provided by the City.
Available City Projects include:
Painting a mural at 115 E. Graham
